Domestic Violence Program

Domestic violence is the physical, emotional, verbal or sexual abuse of an intimate partner or family member. It is against the law. It affects individuals and families in every socioeconomic and demographic group, and has a major social, health and economic impact worldwide and in our own community.

The underlying philosophy of our domestic violence program is that every person has a right to live in a safe environment and to make her own decisions about her life. Our role is to support her, to provide information about resources that will help her move forward, to advocate for her when systems are blocking her progress, and to provide a safe place for her to stay when home is not safe.

Learn more about the Community Crisis Center's Domestic Violence Program and how you can be involved in advocating for an end to domestic violence. Please visit our website http://www.crisiscenter.org for additional information and other programs that are available.
