2015 Toys for Tots
Campton Hills Police Department

The Campton Hills Police Department is announcing that it is again partnering with the United States Marine Corps in the “TOYS FOR TOTS” program. TOYS FOR TOTS mission is to collect new, unwrapped toys and distribute them as Christmas gifts to needy children. As stated on the TOYS FOR TOTS website “the primary goal of TOYS FOR TOTS is to deliver, through a shiny new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders”. The Campton Hills Police Department is proud to be a sponsor of this program and will be a drop off point for these toys. The residents of Campton Hills have been very generous in their giving in the past and we are hoping your generosity continues throughout this holiday season. Anyone wishing to donate to this program may drop off unwrapped new toys by

Facility Options Dr. Schlomann completed the school community
presentations regarding the Facilities Options for District 303.

Here are the next important dates in this process.

  • The Feedback Forum for community members located at www.d303.org/facilities will close on December 1.
  • On Friday, December 11, the Board of Education will hold a Special Meeting at 7 p.m. at Wredling Middle School. There will be four main items on the Agenda for that meeting.
    • First, the Board will be formally presented with the Facilities Options (Dr. Schlomann's presentation will not be given at this meeting).
    • Second, the Board will be given the information contributed by the community in the Feedback Forum.
    • Third, the Board may discuss the Facilities Options.
    • Finally, the majority of the meeting will be devoted to Citizen's Comments. To allow for the opportunity for as many people to comment as possible, the Board will, as is their custom, limit each citizen to three minutes for their comments.

District Administration is asking the Board to make a decision on the Options at the Regular Meeting of the Board of Education on January 11.

  Wasco Sanitary District
Elevated Water Tower Rehabilitation 2015
The Wasco Sanitary District Board of Trustees held a special meeting March 26, 2015, to review the bids received for the Water Tower Rehabilitation 2015 project.  The Board voted to reject all bids for the project (as bids were much higher than anticipated).  The project has been postponed, and there will be no irrigation ban for the summer of 2015 as previously stated.  The project has been tentatively rescheduled for the summer of 2016.
