Electric Aggregation
New Vendor Selected

The Village Board has just approved a 12-month contract with a new aggregate electricity supplier as part of the Village's ongoing participation in electric aggregation.

Overall, residents will pay 6.19 cents per kilowatt hour under the agreement with Dynergy. The rate is lower than the current ComEd rate of 6.977 cents per kilowatt hour.

Residents and businesses will automatically be opted into the plan. Residents may opt out by calling their electrical supplier and may also shop around themselves.

Residents should notice the new, lower, electric rates in their September utility bills, as the current contract with MC2 expires in August.
