11am-3pm. Come out and see a Siberian Husky sled demonstration, a hockey expert and learn snowmobile safety. The event will be held even without snow.

March 2 - The Village of South Elgin will be constructing a replacement bridge on McDonald Road over Otter Creek. With this reconstruction project, McDonald Road will be closed March 2, 2017 - September 17, 2017. Please visit www.southelgin.com for weekly updates beginning March 9, 2017.
March 4 - Corron Farm Preservation Society will host a Meat Raffle and Chili Cook Off fundraiser from 1 to 5 pm at The Silver Spur Ranch, 45W445 Lees Road, Maple Park. Proceeds will benefit the renovation of the historic dairy barn and other restoration projects and educational programs at Corron Farm. Cost for chili tasting is $5 and must be reserved in advance by calling Rhonda at (224) 629-0369. Cornbread, chips, and non-alcoholic beverage provided by Corron Farm Preservation Society.
