Community Gardens
Campton Township Open Space

As part of the Master Plan for Brown Road Meadows Open Space, located across from Anderson Park on Brown Road, Campton Township is moving forward with creating Community Gardens at Brown Road Meadows.  The garden tracts would be 30’ X 30’ OR 30’ X 60’ in size and adequate parking and water would be available.

There will be a small charge for participating in Community Gardens, similar to the City of St. Charles Community Gardens and the Prairie Green Community Gardens in Geneva.  The Campton Township Supervisor asks that approximately 10% of the produce farmed and raised be donated to the Northern Illinois Food Bank.  We will arrange pick up of donated produce from the community gardens.

Since this program is a new one, Campton Township is anxiously looking for your feedback or interest in participating in the Brown Road Prairie Community Garden project.  Please feel free to call the Township, at your earliest convenience, at 630-549-7947. They look forward to hearing from you!
