Outstanding Citizen Award search

The Village of Campton Hills is conducting a search for the first annual Outstanding Citizen Award.
This award will be given to a Campton Hills resident or business owner operating/living in Campton Hills. The nominee must have assisted the improvement or added value to the village of Campton Hills in the past 10 years.
Application forms are available by clicking here, or contacting the Village office at 
The nominee cannot be a member of the Campton Hills governing body.
Application forms must be submitted and received at the Village office by November 1. No exceptions. The award will be presented at the January 2018 Board meeting.

The Community Relations Committee is looking for a few residents to be a part of an adhoc committee to review applications for the Outstanding Citizen Award. Farm Tours

Fall, farms, and scarecrows go so well together. Make a new autumn tradition by touring up to six diverse farms in the inaugural Greater St. Charles Farm Tour, Friday October 6th and Saturday October 7th! Three farms are located right in Campton Hills - Corron Farm, Garfield Farm and Norton Farm. Experience farm life from the 1800's, feed some furry and feathery residents, take wagon rides, groom a horse, see the majesty of the Lusitano horse breed, and so much more. Road Improvements

Starting the week of Oct. 9, construction will begin on Red Gate Road between Randall Road and Longview Drive in the city of St. Charles, in order to safely and efficiently widen the road.

To organize and promote local events and build on tradition and history by partnering with businesses, organizations, and individuals to foster community bonds.

Economic Development Committee:
To maintain the economic health of the Village and promote commercial, business, retail, and supporting services which will strengthen and/or broaden the tax base and enhance quality of life.

School & Community Assistance for Recycling and Composting Education


SCARCE collects items and gives them away to educators and non-profit organizations or gets them recycled.

Their three main projects are the Book RescueTools for Schools, and Super Crayons.

Click here for a list of items that are collected. 

Anyone can donate items to SCARCE.  Items must be boxed. Please bring items during our regular business hours ONLY.  If you value your donations as much as we do, don’t leave them after we are closed. 


Fall Brush Pick-up:

  • Monday, October 9th through Friday, October 13th for north of Rt 64
  • Tuesday, October 16th through Friday, October 20th for south of Rt 64
  • Monday, October 23rd through Friday, October 27th for Campton Hills in Plato

Please make sure your brush conforms to Highway District guidelines for pick-up. Click here for the guidelines to follow. Residents with questions about the brush pick-up may contact the Highway District at 630-365-9300.
