April 2, 2019 Election

The Village of Campton Hills residents can vote on April 2 for Trustees, Village President and Village Clerk.

The residents running for Trustees are: (vote for three)

Sue George
Darlene Bakk
Wendy K White Eagle
Richard Becker

The resident running for Village President is Mike Tyrrell.

Currently, there is no one running on the ballot for Village Clerk.

The Village also has an advisory referendum on the ballot
To Allow Gambling in the Form of Video Gaming, as Provided Under the Video Gaming Act, 230 Ilcs 40/1, in the Village of Campton Hills

Community Relations Commission:
To organize and promote local events and build on tradition and history by partnering with businesses, organizations, and individuals to foster community bonds.

2020 Census Complete Count Committee

Invitation to Join The Village of Campton HIlls 2020 Census Complete Count Committee

The 2020 Census is rapidly approaching and the Village of Campton Hills would like to ensure that an accurate count of all residents is provided to the US Census Bureau.

The Village of Campton Hills is seeking volunteers to join the recently created 2020 Census Complete Count Committee to assist the Village in ensuring that the U.S. Census Bureau receives a complete count of Campton Hills. Your help in obtaining this information is of utmost importance as it impacts our representation in Congress, federal and state assistance, and other areas.

Anyone who is interested in volunteering on the 2020 Census Complete Count Committee is encouraged to complete the Serve on a  Committee Interest Form to submit your information.

Early voting has begun

Voters may begin voting early at the Kane County Clerk’s Office in Geneva and the Aurora Satellite Office, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.

Otherwise, early voting begins 15 days prior to election day. Click here for a listing of locations and dates of other early votes locations.

Waste Management
Seasonal Yard Waste Pick Up

Seasonal yard waste pick up with Waste Management runs from April 1st  through November 30th  each year.  As a reminder,  yard waste pick up will begin Monday April 1st 2019. 

Fixed Yard Waste/Refuse Stickers are now available at the following locations for $2.85:
Jewel – 2073 Prairie Street – St. Charles
Jewel – 800 N Main St. – St. Charles
Jewel – 375 Randall Rd – South Elgin
Meijer – 855 S. Randall Rd – St. Charles
Caputos Fresh Market – 622 Randall Rd – South Elgin

Seasonal Subscription Yard Waste Program
If you use more than 7 yard waste stickers per month, the Seasonal Subscription Yard Waste Program could be a better value. With the Seasonal Subscription Yard Waste Program, a 96-gallon Yard Waste-specific cart will be provided and there will be no sticker fees for up to 3 Kraft bags per week outside the cart. Additional bags beyond 3 per week will each require a Service Sticker ($2.85 each). The Subscription Yard Waste Program is $145.00/season, requiring payment in advance, and runs from April 1 through November 30 each year.

Brush Pick-Up Schedule For Spring 2019

Spring Brush Pick-up:

  • Monday, April 29th through Friday, May 3rd for north of Rt 64
  • Monday, May 6th through Friday, May 10th for south of Rt 64
  • Monday, May 13th through Friday, May 17th for Campton Hills in Plato
Brush must be placed on the edge of the road by the weekend before the scheduled pick-up in your area.

Please make sure your brush conforms to Highway District guidelines for pick-up.

Residents with questions about the brush pick-up may contact the Highway District at 630-365-9300.
