Swearing In

At the May 7, 2019 Village Board Meeting, the following were sworn in for a four-year term to expire May 2023 by the Honorable Judge Joseph Grady.

Mike Tyrrell - Village President
Sue George - Trustee
Wendy K. White Eagle - Trustee
Darlene Bakk - Trustee

Lynn Baez was appointed and sworn in as Village Clerk for a term to expire May 2021

Committee Openings

Plan Commisson/ZBA

The Village currently has an opening on the Plan Commission/ZBA.

The Plan Commission/ZBA makes recommendations concerning the comprehensive plan and zoning matters including text and map amendments, special use permits, variances, and planned unit developments.

Community Relations Commission

The Village currently has an opening on the Community Relations Commission.

The Community Relations Commission organizes and promotes local events and builds on tradition and history by partnering with businesses, organizations, and individuals to foster community bonds.

The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that resurfacing of IL Route 64 between IL Route 47 and Randall Road, in Lily Lake, Campton Hills and St. Charles, will require intermittent, daytime lane closures beginning, weather permitting, May 13.

Whitney Schoolhouse

Join the Skyline Council of Landmarks Illinois & Campton Township as they relocate the historic, 1852 Whitney Schoolhouse! This exciting undertaking will help preserve the pre-Civil War schoolhouse, which is the second-oldest intact one-room schoolhouse in northeastern Illinois. 
The schoolhouse will move less than 1.5 miles from its current location in Campton Hills to Gray Willows Farm, Campton Hills. At its new site, Skyline Council and Campton Township will continue to restore the schoolhouse with the ultimate goal to re-purpose it as an environmental education center.

Arrive at Gray Willows

between 9:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m.
Onlookers will be able to see the historic schoolhouse move along Burlington Road and arrive at Gray Willows Farm. 
*Anyone arriving after 10:30 a.m. will likely have to wait to enter until after the schoolhouse has cleared the farm entrance. 
11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Music & festivities follow the move! 
Food will be available for purchase.
Ecologist led wagon tours of the Gray Willows Farm restoration.

2020 Census Complete Count Committee

Invitation to Join The Village of Campton HIlls 2020 Census Complete Count Committee

The 2020 Census is rapidly approaching and the Village of Campton Hills would like to ensure that an accurate count of all residents is provided to the US Census Bureau.

The Village of Campton Hills is seeking volunteers to join the recently created 2020 Census Complete Count Committee to assist the Village in ensuring that the U.S. Census Bureau receives a complete count of Campton Hills. Your help in obtaining this information is of utmost importance as it impacts our representation in Congress, federal and state assistance, and other areas.

Anyone who is interested in volunteering on the 2020 Census Complete Count Committee is encouraged to complete the Serve on a  Committee Interest Form to submit your information.

Brush Pick-Up Schedule For Spring 2019

Spring Brush Pick-up:

  • Monday, April 29th through Friday, May 3rd for north of Rt 64
  • Monday, May 6th through Friday, May 10th for south of Rt 64
  • Monday, May 13th through Friday, May 17th for Campton Hills in Plato
Brush must be placed on the edge of the road by the weekend before the scheduled pick-up in your area.

Please make sure your brush conforms to Highway District guidelines for pick-up.

Residents with questions about the brush pick-up may contact the Highway District at 630-365-9300.
